Shari Stapley, RMT

Massage therapist Wellington, ShariProud to Serve Her Native Community,

Shari was born and raised in beautiful Prince Edward County. She grew up in Picton and went to high school at Prince Edward Collegiate Institute. Throughout her childhood she was heavily involved in sports including figure skating, volleyball, and softball. She was the softball pitcher for the Napanee Express, where her and her team went on to play in the Eastern Canadians in Nova Scotia where they placed second.

She knew from an early age that she wanted to work in the healthcare field but wasn’t exactly sure what she wanted to do. When Shari was in grade 12 she received her first massage and realized how amazing she felt post massage. She knew from that moment on that she wanted to peruse Registered Massage Therapy.

Experiencing Eastern and Western Canada

In 2013, she graduated from the three year Advanced Diploma at Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario. After graduation, she moved to Toronto where she gained valuable experience working in both Clinic and Spa settings in the big city. However, a year later she caught the travel bug and decided to move to the west coast of Canada. She moved to Airdrie, Alberta and started practicing Massage Therapy there at a spa. She absolutely loved it in Alberta and stayed there for over three years. On her days off you would almost always find her hiking and exploring the Alberta Rockies. In 2018, Shari felt the pull to come back to her home town and be closer to her family and friends. Shari and her boyfriend decided move back home to Prince Edward County and settled in Picton.

Relaxing and Relieving

With over five years experience, Shari specializes in deep tissue massage, repetitive injuries, and pregnancy massage, while also focusing on the relaxation side of the treatment as well. Shari strives towards upgrading her skills and techniques on a continual basis and is always focusing on the most effective treatment plan approach for each individual client. It is very important to her that her clients feel safe, secure, and calm in her hands.

Outside of the Office

When she’s not in the office, you can usually find her at the beach, playing volleyball in the summer and snowmobiling and skiing in the winter. As a part of her heath care routine, she continues to receive monthly massages. She is very excited to join the team at the County Chiropractic Centre and to start serving the community!
